Job Description: Checkout Receptionist Integrated Pain Solutions is an interventional pain management clinic that focuses on chronic pain, offering interventional procedures as well as medication management. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, demonstrate an ability to work within clinical protocols and provide exceptional patient care to our patients. If you are an energetic caring, compassionate person and have the ability to offer prompt assistance while coordinating the patient, then we are looking for you. Responsibilities: Perform clerical and administrative duties in an office setting. Job Duties: Check in/out patients and complete the patient tracking in the EMR system. Schedule patient appointments within operational standards and document appropriately Send out for diagnostic testing, get authorizations for record release and schedules test required. Obtain records that were not obtained prior to the patient visit. Fax to all referring providers dictations or letters out concerning patient visits. Process incoming and outgoing mail. Follow release of information protocol established by the company within the HIPPA guidelines. Scan documents and attach to correct chart. Complete all task within the timeline established by our company. Document no shows in the EMR system. Maintain a neat and clean area daily. Also assist with Bank deposits/ check in Locking and unlocking doors Answers the phone and able to triage phone messages to the right extensions. Maintain patient confidentiality. Able to use office machines- fax, copier, phones, scanner, Collection of money for CBD products Make sure patients are signing the proper contract forms/ cancellation.
