The Support Services Representative will greet patients, register new patients in the computer system, and maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information. answer and assist all incoming telephone callsprovide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiriesschedule appointments using a computerized scheduling systemresolve patient issues and consistently meet or exceed patientsxe2x80x99 service expectationsmaintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance informationcheck patients in when arriving for their appointments, notify all necessary staff of patient arrivalcheck patient out after office visit and schedule follow up appointment if necessaryverify patient insurance, demographic and contact information, make any necessary changes as neededEducation:High School or EquivalentExperience:Minimum of 1 year customer service experience requiredMedical office experience preferredKnowledge of Epic EMR highly preferredKnowledge of medical terminology preferredSkills and Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to handle difficult encountersProficient computer and data entry skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize workflowOrganizedGood listenerTeam orientedHours: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm and every other Saturday 7:00 am – 12:00 pm We offer a competitive starting rate and benefit package.
