We are looking for a Patient Registration Representative/ Front Desk Floater that is punctual, detail oriented, responsible, who can answer the phones, and is professional, respectful, as well as able to multi-task to fill a full-time position.The “Home” location would be our Pomona location, but the ideal candidate would be willing to travel to our Ontario, Upland, Chino, and Pomona locations as need to cover front desk for additional coverage.RESPONSIBILITIESAccessing report of Pre-Certification cases pending pre-certification completionObtaining required documentation such as Patient demographics, insurance information, and referral to begin the Pre-Certification processCalling Insurance provider and obtaining pre-certification details in order to provide services to patientsCall Patientxe2x80x99s Primary Care Physician and provide/obtain crucial information needed to complete pre-certification process if required by insuranceMust be able to follow up on pending pre-certification requests in a timely mannerWill be required to train in our scheduling department to obtain knowledge on scheduling processREQUIREMENTSKnowledge of radiologic procedures and standards (a plus)Highly skilled in maintaining strong relations with providers and patientsCustomer service background and focusKnowledge of CPT and ICD-10 CodesMedical billing, Insurance verification experience (a plus)Must possess good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, physicians and patientsMust be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressureBilingual English/ Spanish in mandatoryPay rate varies based on experience and is discussed at InterviewCentrelake Imaging is a full-service, all digital radiology network in Southern California.
