We are seeking a motivated individual to fill our Turf Front Desk Associate Day Shift position at our Indoor Sports Turf.*Please note that this is a seasonal position starting from December to approximately April. Off-season position MAY be available thereafter, depending on availability but is not guaranteed.Responsibilities:Greet each member and guest promptly, enthusiastically and with a smile to create a friendly positive entrance into the facility and provide control of the front door/entry and Turf spaces.Ensure that guests and appointments are checked in, using the proper check-in procedures, and direct client to the space and/or coach in a prompt, professional manner.Promptly respond to phone and/or in-person inquiries about facility operations and policies. Address callers requests and/or takes appropriate messages.Participate in daily general cleaning duties and completes the daily cleaning log.Responsible for turf walk-thru as documented in the front desk manual, performing safety and equipment checks and routine batting cage calibrations. Logs all maintenance items and notifies management as necessary.Follows proper opening and closing procedures as documented in the front desk manual.Work with customers and book birthday parties (scheduling/coordination), collect game suggestions, schedule staff, participate in parties on the day of.Reserve time / book appointments for sports lessons, rentals, birthday parties or other activities sponsored by the facility.Process camp enrollments, prepare rosters and manage the check-in process for in-flight camps.Process retail and concession sales and processes payments for Turf-related services.Perform various administrative duties as directed by the supervisor.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent is required.This position is customer-facing. Candidate must possess a positive, up-beat personality, excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Strong multi-tasking skills.Basic cash processing procedures & computer skills are required.Sports background (Softball or Baseball) is preferred but not required. Coaching experience is a plus.Shift Information:This is a seasonal part time position.The hours we are looking to fill are Mondays thru Fridays from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM, 2 or more shifts per week.Shifts may be broken into two separate shifts per day, but is not guaranteed.
