Shoe Cleaning Technician and Receptionist

Position Overview:We are seeking a hardworking and personable individual to join our team as a Shoe and Sneaker Cleaning Technician and Receptionist. This role will involve a combination of cleaning, receptionist duties, and inspecting shoes for quality. As an independent contract worker (1099), you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients while representing our brand with professionalism and authenticity.Responsibilities:-Clean and restore shoes and sneakers to their original condition using our specialized cleaning techniques and products.-Greet and assist customers with drop-offs and pickups, providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service.-Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries regarding our services and pricing.-Inspect shoes for quality and ensure they meet our standards before returning them to customers.-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace, including the reception area and cleaning stations.-Community Relations – hosting, events, and connection-Assist with inventory management and restocking of cleaning supplies as needed.-Engage with customers to build rapport and foster positive relationships, encouraging repeat business and referrals.Qualifications:Previous experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality preferred.Previous showcasing of connections to community and/or sneaker and fashion culture.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning processes and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentGenuine interest in shoes and sneakers, with a desire to learn about our cleaning techniques and services.Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable working as an independent contractor (1099) with flexible hours.
