Duties and Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office; direct visitors to the appropriate locationxc2xb7 Operate a multi-line telephone system to answer, screen, and direct incoming callsxc2xb7 Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone/emailxc2xb7 Organize and maintain conference rooms; order lunch for meetingsxc2xb7 Prepare the office for employeexe2x80x99s arrival each morning and close each eveningxc2xb7 Organize, tidy and maintain the reception areaxc2xb7 Monitor incoming and outgoing faxesxc2xb7 Daily attendance checks and emails to members of the Firmxc2xb7 Performs other clerical duties as requested, such as maintaining updating spreadsheets, opening files in the firmxe2x80x99s practice management system, transcribing and scanning, and photocopying documentsxc2xb7 Provide general administrative support to the office and staff overallxc2xb7 Perform other duties as assignedExperience and Education:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of receptionist experience, preferably from a law firm or professional service firmProficient in Microsoft Office, specifically excel.Strong phone skillsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and maintain strict confidentialityAbility to plan, prioritize and coordinate work responsibilitiesMust be extremely organized and detail-orientedAbility to learn new processes, adapt to change in the work environment, and meet unexpected demands or timelinesSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseRegular and reliable attendanceProfessional attitude and appearance
