You will make a difference to our patients every day by ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Every day is a new challenge that will require you to solve problems and use your technical skills to repair, replace, and renew our working spaces. Occasional need for overtime in emergency/ critical repair situations.xc2xa0Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesPerform skilled carpentry work in the construction, maintenance, repair, remodeling, and alteration of our clinics to complete work orders. Work varies daily across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and grounds keeping.Day-to-day you will need to:Manage the use of small hand and power toolsFacilitate repairs on our Chiropractic equipment including precision measuring and testing devices, mechanical equipment, x-ray machines, and adjustment tablesUse your computer/phone skills to track your work orders and interact with our work order system (Fresh Service)Support your teammates to complete large projects and be willing to help others when ticket volume escalatesInteract professionally and respectfully with doctors, staff, vendors, patients, and our team.Use critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve problems and potential safety hazardsPrioritize requests to ensure timely and professional completion; record repairs/work in the ticketing systemComply with federal regulations governing safety, environmental protection, hazardous waste disposal, & the use of chemical substances and materials common in constructionResponsible to follow all laws and rules of the road when behind the wheel of your work van and treat it with respect (cleanliness, limit use outside of work hours, etc.)Minimum QualificationsA high school education or equivalent is requiredThree years successful experience in maintenance or the trades preferredValid driverxe2x80x99s license, good driving record, and availability to travel to clinics in a company provided vehicleGood communication/interpersonal skillsAbility to work with a sense of urgency in resolving ticketsxc2xa0Preferred QualificationsCompletion of a maintenance carpentry vocational/technical school or a recognized apprenticeship program in maintenance carpentryModerate carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experienceExperience in commercial propertiesGood physical condition and stamina to preform manual work dailyAttention to detail and the ability to operate with integrity with minimal oversightAbility to work Saturdays occasionally as projects requirexc2xa0Physical DemandsThe following tasks are performed Rarely (0-15%), Intermittently (16-35%), Often (36-75%) or Frequently (76-100%) for the position above.Bending- O, Crouching -F, Climbing- I, Grasping – F, Writing – R, Typing- I, Writing – O, Sitting – R, Standing – O, Viewing a computer monitor – R, Pushing/Pulling – F, Driving – F, Speaking – F, Listening – O, Lifting 0-10 lbs -F, Lifting 11-20 lbs -O, Lifting 21+ lbs – O, Twisting – F, Squatting – O , Kneeling – Oxc2xa0xc2xa0DisclaimerAll team members agree to consistently support compliance and TVG-Medulla, LLC policies and Standards of Excellence with regard to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Medulla procedures and protocols.
