Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a part-time Reception Intake Specialist within our Surgery Center working from 6 am – 11 am. High volume specialties include orthopedics, neuro, general surgery, total joints, ENT, pain management and endoscopy. We have a highly skilled team of nurses and clinical staff that provide clinical excellence, supporting patients and the surgeons in all phases of the surgical process. SWRSC has achieved AAAHC, Medicare CMS and State of Washington Accreditation What You Will Do: You will be first point of contact between SWRSC and our patients. You must have a strong service oriented approach to all job responsibilities. Check patients in by obtaining all required demographic information. Collect and post copay/deductible/coinsurance to patient accounts. Present Privacy Notices and Patient Rights and Responsibilities. Answers phones and routes calls appropriately. Assembles Medical Records after patient is discharged. Closing procedures. What You Will Need: Candidates for this position must have at least 2 years of medical office experience Customer Service experience Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to simultaneously handle competing priorities Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.69 – $27.56 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Morning shift No weekends Ability to Relocate: Vancouver, WA 98664: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
