Responsibilities: Front Office Associatexc2xb7 Work Full-time 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Fridayxc2xb7 Maintain a professional atmosphere at the front desk and throughout the office.xc2xb7 Scheduling New patient appointment requests on our website- obtain correct patient demographics and insurance information while scheduling with appropriate provider.xc2xb7 Make calls to schedule/ reschedule appointments when necessary.xc2xb7 Scanning documents needed into our EMR system.xc2xb7 Distributing faxes to the appropriate individual and documenting in the patientxe2x80x99s charts.xc2xb7 Handling of any Medical records requests while remaining complaint with HIPAA.xc2xb7 Handling any Fax/email requests from parents and/or provider offices.xc2xb7 Willing to cover the Call Center when staff is out.xc2xb7 Other tasks, as necessary.Responsibilities: Call Centerxc2xb7 Work Full-Time 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Fridayxc2xb7 Answer, direct, and transfer a high volume of incoming calls to appropriate department in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.xc2xb7 Schedule patient appointments- obtain correct patient demographics and insurance information while scheduling with appropriate provider.xc2xb7 Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the organization.xc2xb7 Understanding of when to escalate calls to Nurse/Practice manager.xc2xb7 Make calls to schedule/ reschedule appointments when necessary.xc2xb7 Handle any messages in patient charts routed to the front desk.xc2xb7 Address any issues or concerns and escalate to management if necessary.xc2xb7 Ability to de-escalate upset patient calls when necessary.Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: xc2xb7 High school diploma or equivalent requiredxc2xb7 Minimum 1-year of related experience and/or training is required.xc2xb7 Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office & Outlook).xc2xb7 Ability to handle a xe2x80x9cCall Centerxe2x80x9d environment that is fast paced.
